oast house

courtesy of: charlotte eastwood

a couple of nights ago, i went out with my two best friends charl and lucy. was such a good night- a few drinks turned into a few too many, and charl showed us this amazing bar i had never heard of.

OAST house- Spinningfields, Manchester.
it kinda looks like it should be part of the christmas markets, but its sort-of permanent. its very seasonal and cosy, fairly small. it describes itself as 'a traditional country pub', which is half true, however it is more like a cosy bar than a traditional pub, especially being situated near the centre of Manchester.  there are cute tables outside, with a kind of winter bbq hut-thing going on. walking inside, the warmth literally hits you. amazing atmosphere, and the place allowed children to come in with their obviously cool parents.

a large glass of wine cost me £6- not the cheapest, but it was large! we managed to grab a table after around ten minutes of standing at the bar. they also serve food, which looked pretty cool, serving stuff like chicken kebabs on skewers, steaks, burgers and meze.

it made me feel really christmassy, and i definitely recommend it this winter!
(my merry-ness and the business of the place resulted in a lack of pictures- sorry!)
