come back to me

that dress, i think it's perfect.
if you haven't already seen ATONEMENT, please watch, and when you have, let me know- it is pure beauty in the form of a film.

how to... trick people into thinking you're good looking

THIS ISN'T ME. i just think this girl is very clever. and quite funny.

outfit idea- bear with me

you've all seen this dress right? #toppy, again- everyones got it, its a little bit on the 'chill out on animal print' side.
#chavvychic

well, i had an idea! i like tops with long sleeves and very fitted- exactly like the top of this dress. you don't get these anywhere, and if you do, they just go baggy and aren't fitted at all. i was thinking of teaming this dress, with a black maxi skirt #obviously the maxi skirt on top of the dress, to make the dress look like a top, get it? so with some heeled chelsea boots, i reckon this could look pretty good. i know your probably thinking it might look a bit too much, or don't even understand a word i'm saying, but you dont know until you've tried it, right? just a little brainwave. i am off to the trafford centre tonight so i'm gonna try it on in the changing room. i'll let you know how it goes, and whether it does look completely ridiculous. although i do love the idea of block coloured maxi skirts, especially black, paired with some boots for the winter season.

you have probably made your mind up, from reading this post, that i am not someone to follow in terms of what i wear, and i'm not usually this inventive in terms of my clothes- just bear with me, we will see how this idea goes.
i'm also looking to get a nice denim shirt, buttoned up to the top to wear with my wet look leggings.

AGAIN, topshop, £18 and £16.
haven't had the scarf off- amazing fabric
the shoes aren't made from the best of materials, but for 18 quid you can't go wrong.
does this mean i've done my teal for the winter? can i go back to black and wax? thanks

bilson does topshop

http://www.redcarpet-fashionawards.com/2011/10/07/sidewalk-style-rachel-bilsons-topshop-dress/

here's rachel bilson doing topshop. i found the image online, and everyones moaning about the cute little jacket shes teamed with the rose petal print dress. get over it! its just chilled and not too try-hard. i think she looks really good in this, don't you agree?
£50

howwwever, on the SAME website, i found another images of rachel wearing SUNO.
now, how amazing is this dress? it was the first time i had heard of the designer, and looking through the collection online its obvious SUNO is high end with a difference, on trend and "accessible" luxury (or so they say- for me £998 may be luxury but it sure aint accessible).

all i see in SUNO's collection is something that looks a bit silly and unwearable, and just because it's on a catwalk means its fashionable?

rachel does a much better job of raising the awareness of the brand through her dress, it looks amazing. it makes me think though, although the suno dress looks better than the topshop dress, they don't look too far apart in terms of how good they look on her. i know the quality of the suno dress is probably impeccible, and you can see even from the image the detail of the dress is something i can never get my hands on anywhere (definitely my type of dress), trends come and go, so do we really need to spend this much money on one piece of clothing, when some of the high street stores can look just as good?

how to... whiten your teeth

#the american way! (no bank loan needed)
in dedication to anne-marie

came across these amazing life/yellow teeth savers in wal mart when visiting america three years ago.
Crest White Strips
they cost around £20-£30- depending on where you get them from- and they are seriously good. you can buy them online from e-bay, amazon etc. although they do make your teeth slightly sensitive, this is the only bad thing i have to say about them.

very easy to apply-
#image taken from google

they're like little plasters, you peel them off the packaging and they have a clear gel on one side. you put one little plaster on the top, and one on the bottom twice a day for 45 minutes. two weeks later and voila- pearly whites!

please take my advice and try them- i did mine three years ago and the whiteness is still there

how to do... TEAL

it seems as though teal is the new colour for the coming autumn and winter, which i think is a lot more refreshing and colourful compared to the browns and mustards we were seeing last winter. alrthough perfect for the brunettes, us blondies don't have a clue where to start when experimenting with teal! scanning through images on the internet it seems as though the only ladies wearing the seasons colour are those sporting either a strawberry sunkissed hair tone or full on brunette.

j-lo bringing teal to the red carpet

absoloutley in love with blake here-
her strawberry hair and mermaid dress

#FOR THE BLONDIES LIKE ME WHO FIND TEAL A BIT SCARY:

TOPSHOP-

£10- very cheap i reckon! now all you need is a thick winter fringe.

Shoes- £62
No need to be walking home shoes in hands with these beauties!

Skater Skirt- £34
Team with thick black tights and a cute blazer.

#it was interesting to find only topshop gave me reams of teal products, warehouse gave me a small selection, and the rest of the high street no products at all. not to be a topshop brown nose but obviously they are very catwalk influenced and definitely on trend.

FOR THE MORE DARING TEAL LOVERS;

what better way to show off this the winter seasons shade than a great load of fur?

#teal dipping

TEAL we drop, get it?
