tiny wishes
if, like me, you love your bracelets, i had a little idea (here we go again)-
i was bought a thoughtful little present a few months ago from http://tinywishes.co.uk/-
the company are online and specialise in wish bracelets- a thin bracelet with one pendant on, enabling you to add your own meaning. when the bracelet naturally breaks, the wish you made when putting the bracelet on comes true. this idea is something i definitely buy into-

this is the special one i had, with a tiny angel wing pendant. after around a month the bracelet naturally snapped and it is safe to say my wish has been heard.
anyway, for £4.50, free P+P, i reckon there is definitely a market out there for these kind of bracelets now. especially in red. (although i'm not liking the model wearing my bracelet- i have a funny feeling it's a guy?)

i want the wishbone one- liam, when you read this, take the hint.

the bead shop
for those mancuinans out there who didn't know this exsisted, you're in for a treat.
THE BEAD SHOP-
http://www.the-beadshop.co.uk/?gclid=CLiTppfEhqwCFcgc4QodCC3n-A
Afflecks Palace, Manchester.
In my opinion one of the best shops in town.

the shop is filled to the brim with every bead you can imagine. all you do is pick up a little bowl, and get cracking. each bead has a price on, ranging from 10p to around £3. the bracelets i have made have usually ranged from £4 to £12 and are great gift ideas.
when you think your done, remember to pick up a roll of elastic from the counter- this costs around 80p for about a metre and is definitely worth it. also, elastic is a good idea as any other material may be quite wide and wont push through the holes in the beads. it is also very strong and i have only known it to snap once in all the bracelets i have made.

i'd say you need around twenty beads for one bracelet.
my favourite is the wing- i put one on every bracelet i make. i like to think it as a little angel being with you wherever you go.
you can also buy a bag of little letters, like these ones-
sorry for the blurriness, #iphone
they also do beading classes for anyone who is interested in learning professionally-
so, whether your stuck for a cute and meaningful gift idea, or you want to be a little creative, get yourself to the bead shop and grab a bowl

busy bee
i'm back, sorry for my lack of blogging recently, been so busy with uni work. but like i said, i went on a spree in toppy last week-
£58- detachable fur. amazing. very good price also, i was trying on leathers in zara and they were around £80-90 and nowhere near as nice a fit. i figured instead of buying another winter coat, id buy a nice warm little leather. only downside to this- everyone has it. however, detachable fur, quilting, belted, good price and perfect fit, theres seriously not much more you could ask for in a leather!
ps. the buttons fell off after wearing it once- be careful of this and make sure you catch them!
this is the leather i've been wearing for 2 years and it has lasted me ages! a little bargain too- i bought it from Internacionale (a shop similar to peacocks) for £20 and it has been perfect. however, the three quarter length sleeves means it has to stay inside during winter- hence the purchase of the toppy one.
thought i'd try out my inner prep- #who doesn't want to be american?- and buy this REALITEE tee. perfect with my jeans. £22.
i bought the denim shirt i was looking for- still havem't worn it which may be suggesting something after a week. so hard to find something to wear a denim shirt with, but i like to button it all the way to the top, tucked in, rolled up sleeves #geekchic- better than chvvy chic! £30
i bought the dress! tried it on with the black maxi i told you about- have never looked so hippy. (not in the cool sixties hippy sense- more like whatever i eat goes to my hips way). i love it though, looks really good as a top with my denim shorts, tucked in, black opaques- perfect for wherever, whenever. you won't be catching me wearing it as a dress though- talk about showing every lump and bump. £29 and definitely worth it.
hopefully i won't be buying anything else for a few weeks, but if i do ill let you know. still to find some winter warmers- let the fur hunt begin!
