and the wellies come out!

who says theyre only for festivals? the snows coming soon! maybe hunters were cooler last year, but to be honest they have always been around as a traditional, quality welly and can be worn all year round in england. i thought seeing as though the rain has come (soon to be snow), it was a good time to tell you about a cracking deal i found a couple of months ago. topshop sell hunter wellies for £85, the shorter ones for £65. if you live around or remotely near the oldham/saddleworth area, theres a great little shoe shop on uppermill high street called PAUSE-A-SECOND, that sells every type of hunter you can think of.

i got mine for £35, and went for the original black. although i bought the kids ones, me being a perfect size 5 shoe (uk), they fit perfectly and have the advantage of being about five inches below the knee, which stops any rubbing or blister on the knee, which i have heard the original long hunters tend to do. they aren't as short as the 'shorter' boots, i'd say they are about in between.

(i'd take a picture of mine- but these ones are so much cleaner)

also, with buying the childs size, you can get the childs wellie socks for just £10- adult size £15. an absolute need for the uk winter ahead of us.
